Winter in the Brenta Dolomites was characterised by plenty of snowfall. At the moment there is still plenty of snow in the mountains and along the paths even below 2000 m.

Temperature has risen in the last few weeks and the snow has started to melt.

We forecast that by June 15th most of the paths that lead to the mountain huts will be clear. however, snow will stay longer along the paths and via ferrata at higher altitude.

All the mountain huts in the Brenta Dolomites will open on June 15th 2013.

The huts in the Brenta Dolomites are partecipating to the Rifugi del Gusto initiative and will stay open until September 29th. From the 22nd to the 29th of Septemper these huts will offer a special menu with typical Trentino recipes. 

RIFUGIO PELLER: open until October 7th 

MALGA MONDIFRA': open until September 9th. It offers restaurant service but no overnight stay.  

RIFUGIO GRAFFER: open until September 29th

RIFUGIO TUCKETT: open until September 29th

RIFUGIO BRENTEI: open until September 29th

RIFUGIO XII APOSTOLI: open until September 29th

RIFUGIO AGOSTINI: open until September 29th

RIFUGIO TOSA PEDROTTI: open until September 29th

MALGA SPORA: board and lodging from July 5th until September 9th. Outside this period it puts on trekkers' disposal a bivouac with kitchen

MALGA TUENA: board and lodging from June 15th until September 30th 

The other 5 malga (sheperds' huts) on the route do not offer board and lodging. However, they always put on hikers' disposal a bivouac fitted with mattress, blankets and a small kitchen with stove.
