Closure of Malga Tuena, Summer 2026
Malga Tuena will remain closed for the entire 2026 summer season due to extraordinary maintenance work on the access road.

It is possible to use the nearby bivouac, keeping in mind that although it is open, it is not managed nor bookable, and anyone wishing to use it must be self-sufficient with their own equipment (especially a sleeping bag).
Access is via mountain trails and not by the road from Val di Tovel, which remains inaccessible.
The bivouac is structured as follows:
- owned by the Municipality of Ville d’Anaunia
- 10 meters from Malga Tuena
- always open
- 12 sleeping places
- water available outside, but not potable
- no bathroom
