Summer 2026: extraordinary works in the Brenta mountain group
During the summer season of 2026, SAT has scheduled a major extraordinary maintenance intervention on route O304, known as the Via Ferrata dell’Ideale “CESARE SALVATERRA-CEGE”, between Bocca dei Camosci and Bocca d’Ambiez, under the supervision of Dr. Gianni Canale.
It is likely that the entire glacier area will be closed for 5–7 days at the end of June to allow for rock scaling and safety operations. During this period, both route O304 “VF dell’Ideale”, which connects La Vedretta d’Ambiez with Rifugio XII Apostoli, and route O327, which runs from Rifugio Maria e Alberto ai Brentei up to Bocca dei Camosci, will be completely closed.
